The 15 Year Old Black Cardigan

When my sister worked at Express in mall during her high school years over 15 years ago she gave me her unwanted black cardigan. I've worn the crap out of it and lost a few buttons throughout the years but continue to wear it 'til this day. (I've tried to look for a replacement every year but none ever met up to my expectations).

Alexis gave me a bag o' buttons and the first thing that came to mind was my favorite and only black cardigan.

Tadaah! It's like brand new!

Skull & Rose-like

Jess is into pirates so I embroidered a skull on a bib and a rose-like flower on a onesie for Jess & Olaf's new baby girl, Marina Cross :)

Sushi Sashimi onesies

Kimberly's younger sister, Kat and her hubby are expecting their first baby girl at the end of the month. Since I'm on an embroidery kick, I decided to stitch a couple of sushi onesies :)

Kurt Halsey embroidering

My sister's good friends Chris and Aimee are expecting a baby girl TODAY so I decided to dig out my embroidery kit and stitch away! I think they turned out so cute!

Studio space

I give you the cyber tour. Upon entering the studio you will be greeted by my apprentice, Carnie, usually found sprawled out and sleeping on something she's working on. Here is the main work space, an 8 ball when I'm just unsure of things, 2 sewing machines (one being a serger) and 2 macbooks (one being Tyler's) along with random unfinished craft/project goodies. Currently working on embroidering onesies for a few pregos and a cape :) :) :) One day I'll probably get electrocuted from the messy cords below.

To the left are my project boards and my Mr. Potato Head limited editions.

To the right is a mixture of sewing, fabric and computer clutter.

Can't sleep, will sew!
